Join Team Carson for a busy July!

This month, Team Carson is on the move, and we’d love for you to join us! We’ll be canvassing the neighborhoods around Howe High School, walking with our neighbors in the UniverSoul Circus “Peace in the Street” Parade, and holding a booth at the Indiana Black Expo

Canvassing on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. – noon. Meet at Thomas Carr Howe Community High School, 4900 Julian Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46201

“Peace in the Street” Parade on Sunday, July 13 at 2:15 p.m. Meet at the Brightwood Community Center, 2410 Station St, Indianapolis, IN 46218

Indiana Black Expo on Friday, July 18 from noon – 8  p.m., July 19 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., and July 20 from noon – 6 p.m. (Shift times can be confirmed with Anthony at or 226-9400).

Fox 59: Stolen Purple Heart medal replaced

FOX 59: Members of Rep. André  Carson’s staff delivered a Purple Heart to the Duncan family, whose medal was stolen in a burglary.

“My dad lived and died breathingmilitary, he was always a military man, and the service was the world to him,” Gibson said…

The story reached those on Capitol Hill, in particular, Congressman Andre Carson. When he found out what happened, he said he knew he had to get a replacement quickly.
